Hello, devoted fans :)
This is a new project
I've been working on for nearly half a year. Each week (hopefully), I'll post at least one new caption depicting a scene taking place at a parallel world (What's so special about it, you ask? Well, read the intro, and find out for yourselves!). It could be a short conversation, a routine, a monologue, or even a short commercial. Hopefully that way you'll understand better what the Planet of Giants is really all about! (Credit for the name and main idea goes to Ausdpr, who published 20 marvelous captions of HIS version of 'The Planet of Giants', that inspired me to have a go and try my own version).I hope you'll have fun reading it, and remember, I can always use YOUR ideas for new 'scenes' taking place in this world. Do you have a short scene playing through your head which might fit? I'd love to hear more about it, so let me know by replying and I might use it. If I do, I promise to name the main character after whoever you like.

ReplyDeleteI've always thought Ausdpr's Planet of the Giants series was pretty cool... Definitely cool to see your take on it ^_^
ReplyDeleteAusdpr's was amazing because every seen you saw a comparison of a adult giant to a human baby. You did that perfectly in 2 of the captions..the other 3 were like normal captions. try to capture how small and babyish humans are to them..like a human adult playing blocks while a adult giant looks down on them and smiles.
ReplyDeleteDude, as long as you do the photoshop work for me I try to do as you wish :) Do you have any idea how long it takes? (And size differences pictures already created by other people are very hard to find).
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I already made a few "photoshopped" pictures myself (Just like the 5th picture in THIS installment. The one in the intro isn't mine, and I don't know whose is it), that I'll post on the upcoming updates.
You said all comments, im just specifying..it doesnt matter how many you realease but the quality of the ones you do complete! :) i didnt say they were horrible...there good.

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see you posting again! I love your captions so much!! Hmmm... how about a couple are taken from their anniversary dinner and made into a giant's twin baby girls?
